Qasa Alom

Established BBC host Qasa fronts ‘Today at Wimbledon’ during The Championships fortnight each summer, working on-screen alongside John McEnroe, Martina Navratilova and Tim Henman.

The 2020 Best Radio Presenter of the Year at the Asian Media Awards also hosts a range of programmes on BBC 5 live, is a BBC Travel Show presenter and a recent addition to the Amazon Prime Video Sport Premier League team.

Sam Ashoo

A lead sports anchor (and executive producer) for the global Euronews network, Sam has recently hosted programs and digital strands in Qatar – around the 2022 FIFA World Cup – and Australia – around the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.

British-Iraqi Sam's other credits include: BT Sport, Fox Sports Asia and Liverpool FC's LFCTV.

Mike Atherton OBE

Aged twenty-five, Mike achieved England cricket captaincy during a home Ashes series; going on to lead his country in a record 54 Test matches.

He has subsequently earned his reputation as one of the world's finest broadcasters and journalists and it currently a Sky Sports analyst and Chief Cricket Correspondent for The Times. The Sports Journalists' Association has recognised Mike as either Columnist, Cricket Journalist, Specialist Correspondent or Sports Writer of the Year on eleven occasions.

Jermaine Beckford

Amongst a playing career that featured spells with Bolton Wanderers, Everton and Leicester City, Jermaine thrived at Leeds United, scoring 71 goals in 126 appearances, and represented Jamaica.

He is now a respected broadcast analyst, regularly appearing globally on networks including Astro SuperSport, ESPN and Sky Sports, and founded natural nutritional and wellness business, Supernova Living.

Steve Bower

In control in the commentary booth and in front of the cameras in a major studio environment, Steve is for sure one of sports broadcasting's finest versatile talents.

He currently leads the Premier League's IMG-made shows for non-UK rights holders, alongside calling games for iconic BBC programme, Match of the Day, commentating on England for Channel 4 and anchoring live PL action in the UK for Amazon Prime Video.

Steve's other credits include presenting Premier League coverage on NBC and fronting major tournament football for ESPN.

Steven Caldwell

Amongst more than 350 top-level professional appearances, Scotland international Steven was a part of Burnley and Sunderland's Premier League promotion winning teams, captained Toronto FC in MLS and also turned out for Birmingham City, Newcastle United and Wigan Athletic.

Steven is now TSN's lead football co-commentator and analyst in addition to contributing to Apple MLS coverage and Sky Sports.

Laura Deas

Skeleton racer Laura won a bronze Winter Olympics media in 2018 in Pyeongchang and a silver World Championships medal in 2023 in St. Moritz.

A multi sports talent as a junior (playing hockey and participating in equestrian events), Laura was brought into skeleton in 2009 through UK Sport's “Girls4Gold” talent identification programme and has been awarded an honorary Master of Science from the University of Chester.

Mick Fitzgerald

A Cheltenham Festival Gold Cup and Grand National winning jockey, Mick knows what it is like to be at the very top of a sport.

Coupled with a huge passion for racing, he is also able to speak eloquently about the darker moments of being an elite athlete; notably for him being forced to retire through injury after a fall in the 2008 English Grand National.

Mick can be seen regularly on ITV Racing and Sky Sports Racing and is a regular Paddy Power contributor.

Amy Gillingham

Trailblazer Amy was the Middle East's first female football commentator, continuing to call Saudi Pro League and UAE Pro League games for television networks and broadcasts in the region and English language outlets internationally.

Amy, previously a physical education teacher and academic consultant, heralds from Merseyside and played semi-professional football for FC United of Manchester amongst other clubs.

David Gower OBE

One of the most stylish left-handed batsmen of his era, David captained England's cricket team and in 117 Test matches, scored 8,231 runs.

Post playing, he has become one of sports broadcasting's most respected hosts and commentators, leading coverage on BBC Test Match Special, BT Sport, Channel Nine and Sky Sports.

ESPNcricinfo remarked that Gower's broadcast career has been "so successful that his cricket seemed mere preparation."

Miles Harrison

Recognised by BAFTA, Miles has been Sky Sports' lead rugby union commentator since 1994, when the network secured broadcast rights to screen live club competitions.

He has also called multiple World Cup tournaments and the Six Nations on UK terrestrial television for ITV and commentated and hosted for Amazon Prime Video, Channel 4, Sky in New Zealand and talkSPORT.

Jon Holmes

Described by The Independent as “one of the most respected sports agents”, Jon has for four decades managed the careers of sport and media professionals at the top of their respective industries.

Prior to Leicester City Football Club's incredible Premier League title success, a consortium led by him saved the Club from going out of business.

Jon, a politics graduate from the University of Leeds, was made an Honorary Master of Business Administration by De Montfort University.

Adam Hunt

A multi-sports multi-platform talent, who has lead sports output in Asia and the Americas for Fox Sports and in the UK for Amazon Prime Video and Sky Sports.

Comfortable within a Premier League football, golf or NFL environment, British-American Adam excels at tennis broadcasting, too, after a successful junior career followed by a scholarship to attend college in the US.

Gary Lineker OBE

The most recognisable face in sports broadcasting, Gary hosts for the BBC the most popular football show in the UK, Match of the Day, in addition to the corporation's major men's international tournament coverage and that around the FA Cup, which he won as a player.

Gary uniquely uses his own professional background on-field – that also included winning the FIFA World Cup Golden Boot – to bring out the best in analysts such as Cesc Fabregas, Rio Ferdinand and Alan Shearer.

Sought-after Gary is well known for his high-profile association with Walkers Crisps, which, dating back to 1995, is the UK's longest uninterrupted celebrity endorsement campaign. He has also for some time been the face of NEXT's menswear range.

Nick Luck

A respected racing authority all over the world, Nick anchors for NBC Sports and Racing TV – covering the biggest events including Cheltenham, the Derby, Grand National and Breeders Cup.

The former Channel 4 presenter also travels frequently to Asia to host the continent's main meetings and has been behind the mic for the BBC for the Badminton and Burghley Horse Trials and Olympics.

Diligent, hard-working Nick is an nine-time HWPA Broadcaster of the Year.

Andy May

Repeatedly recognised by the Radio Academy and Sports Journalists' Association during two decades' presenting and making programs worldwide for BT Sport, Fox Sports, Star Sports and TSN amongst others, Andy now manages the careers of those at the top of the industry.

Andy is a qualified lawyer and as part of one of his two legal masters spent time at Yale Law School researching and writing a paper on global soccer groups.

Kat Merchant

A crucial part of the England team that won the 2014 World Cup in France, Kat scored almost a try in every match she played for her country.

Kat featured in four World Cups (including 7's) and has to her name 58 England appearance. Since retiring as a player, Kat is frequently welcomed back to Twickenham to appear and work at men's and women's internationals.

Following a stint coaching the Sri Lankan national team, Kat now runs a high-performance personal training business alongside her media work.

Brian Moore

In spite of being front row by trade, a real giant in the world of rugby and broadcasting.

Brian won three Six Nations' Grand Slams with England, played at the first three Rugby World Cup tournaments and earned the honour of touring with the British and Irish Lions.

He is currently a part of the major events BBC Sport team, writes for The Telegraph and having read law at the University of Nottingham, reached partner in the City.

Guy Mowbray

31million were hanging on Guy's each and every word in the summer of 2021 as he called the final of Euro 2020 – and Italy's ultimate triumph over England – live on BBC television.

As BBC Sport's number one football commentator, he is also behind the mic for the main Africa Cup of Nations, European Championship, FA Cup and Premier League moments, and calls matches for Amazon Prime Video and TNT Sports.

Guy was also recently asked to lend his voice to Gladiators as part of the popular show's return to free-to-air television.

Brough Scott

One of the best-known figures in racing, Brough is another example of a Jon Holmes Media client making the successful transition from competing to media.

After more than a century of winners as an amateur and professional jockey, he has anchored racing for the benefit of millions of viewers of ITV and Channel 4, and as a journalist for the Independent, Telegraph and Times he has three times been recognised as Sports Feature Writer of The Year.

Mark Scott

A history-maker as Match of the Day's first ethnic minority commentator, British-Caribbean Mark is now well past a century of matches for the BBC's iconic football program.

He also calls live games for IMG's Premier League Productions and the Bundesliga, for substantial worldwide television and digital audiences.

Mark's broadcast career began at the turn of the millennium, as he reported and commentated on football for the former Capital Gold network.

Charlie Slater

A well-known voice on BBC radio, Charlie has to date commentated on more than 500 live EFL and Premier League matches.

Growing up and based in the midlands, Charlie has also been a mainstay on regional midlands television, front sports and weather programmes and segments.

Anna Soubry

A former government cabinet Minister, Anna served as a Nottinghamshire MP for a decade.

Articulate and opinionated, she became leader of Change UK after resigning from the Conservatives due to the party's EU-stance, remarking that “‘the right wing, the hard-line anti-EU awkward squad‘ had hijacked the Conservative Party from top to toe.”

Anna, who was one of the first hosts of ITV's This Morning, has returned to her practice as a criminal barrister.

Jess Stafford

A presenter for RacingTV and TVG, Jess was in 2021 named best emerging talent by the Horserace Writers and Photographers Association.

She created the Guinness short film ‘Behind Every Great Horse’ and for several years fronted Betfair's European digital content.

Jess has been immersed in racing since her childhood and whilst reading history at Trinity College in Ireland was President of the Dublin Horse Racing Society.

Ruby Walsh

One of the greatest jockeys of all time, multiple International Jockey of the Year winner, Ruby, remains the most successful rider in Cheltenham Festival history.

He famously won the English Grand National at his first attempt in 2000, aged twenty, on Papillon, a horse trained by his dad, Ted. Father and son then went on that year to win the Irish Grand National with Commanche Court.

Charismatic, hard-working Ruby is now a part of ITV's award-winning racing coverage, alongside hosting national radio and television programs for RTÉ.

Stephen Warnock

Amongst more than 500 top-level professional appearances, Stephen played for Liverpool, Blackburn Rovers, Aston Villa and Leeds United, and was capped by England.

Stephen is now a well-respected co-commentator and in-studio television and radio analyst, appearing on Amazon Prime Video Sport, BBC, NBC Sports and Sky Sports.
